Itinerary
Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Continue to our hotel in the Austrian Tyrol. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a welcome drink followed by dinner.

Day 3 - Medieval Kufstein & Tyrolean Schnapps Distillery
Medieval Kufstein is a perfect introduction to the Tyrol, set in the foot of the great Kaiser mountain range on the Tyrol-Bavarian border. The town has a 30,000-year-old history and rich cultural roots. Its mighty fortress, which was over the centuries an important defence against the invading Bavarians, dates from the 13th Century and overlooks the green, Inn River. Take the panoramic lift up to the fortress which now houses a museum of local history as well as the Hero’s Organ, the largest open-air organ in the world. Travel back in time with the interactive sightseeing tour and learn the secrets of the Kufstein Fortress. Continue to a Schnapps Distillery and learn the art of traditional Schnapps distilling and perhaps even try some of the local firewater.Please note: The visit to Kufstein Fortress is not suitable for passengers with Mobility Issues.

Day 4 - Innsbruck and Swarovski Crystal World
Visit Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol, nestled scenically at the foot of the Northern Chain Mountains. This charming alpine city, which hosted the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976, prides itself on its friendly welcome. See some of the highlights including the Hofkirche or court church, and the iconic Golden Roof on our included guided tour. We then continue on to the Swarovski Crystal World that celebrates the iconic crystal. With over 14 million visitors since its grand opening, the Crystal world is one of Austria’s most popular attractions. Admire the Swarovski Giant and the Chambers of Wonder, as well as the new Crystal Cloud.We will then return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 5 - Lake Achensee
After a morning at leisure, head towards the largest alpine lake in Tyrol, Lake Achen, known locally as Achensee. Known as the ‘Fjord of the Alps', Lake Achen is a natural beauty spot. And, with its eye-catching water colours ranging from emerald green to ultramarine, alongside its fascinating mountain scenery, it’s easy to see why Achensee is such a popular destination.Whilst visiting Lake Achen, why not take an optional boat cruise, or enjoy a stroll by the lake?

Day 6 - Day at Leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure. Spend time exploring the local area, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the facilities on offer at the hotel.

Day 7 - Schatzberg Mountain
Start the day with a visit at a cheese dairy, where you get an insight to its production and taste this Austrian speciality. Afterwards take a ride on the Schatzberg cable car to an altitude of over 1780 metres. The dramatic scenery of the Tyrolean mountains dominates the landscape and never fails to impress. Lush alpine meadows and forests give way to steep, jagged cliffs and snowy gorges, all seemingly within reach. At the Schatzberg Cross, a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of the Wildschönau and the Alpbachtal opens up. You can walk around the easy paths on the plateau, enjoy lunch or just relax and enjoy the views.
