About Amsterdam Festival of Lights
For 53 days, the open-air light exhibition ‘Light Festival Amsterdam‘ illuminates the city centre of Amsterdam. For the 15th year, the canals of Amsterdam will be transformed into a unique canvas for light art. more than 20 pieces of art are created especially for the festival and can be found on a route along the Amsterdam canals. You can admire the artwork either by foot or by boat.
The official theme for 2026 has not yet been announced.
