ItineraryDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Durham and the hotel in the city centre for a four night stay.Day 2 This morning the guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on a gentle walking tour of the city. The tour will take in the history of the city and the part it has played over the centuries. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 Today you will travel to Newcastle, where the guide will meet you for a panoramic tour of the city on the coach. You will be informed how Newcastle shaped not just the north of England but the whole world. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own.
Day 4 Travel to Bishop Auckland, where you will visit the Auckland Project, and your entry includes, access to Auckland Castle, the Spanish Gallery, Gardens, Mining Art Gallery, Deer Park, Auckland Tower and Faith Museum.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
