  • DAY 1 UK/Bangkok
  • You'll fly to Bangkok today.
  • DAY 2 Bangkok
  • On arrival in Bangkok, we'll transfer you to your hotel for a two-night stay. With the rest of the day free, you've the chance to explore Thailand's vibrant capital at your own pace.
  • DAY 3 Bangkok
  • This morning you're going to discover Bangkok's highlights, with visits to the temples of the Emerald Buddha and the Reclining Buddha as well as the Grand Palace. There's more time to make your own discoveries this afternoon, or you could take an optional river cruise. Then at dinner tonight we're treated to a traditional dance performance.​
  • DAY 4 Battambang
  • Today we're leaving Thailand and driving to the border with Cambodia at Aranyaprathet. This is a fascinating place where you'll see carts and people laden with goods crossing the 200-yard 'no man's land' between the two countries. Once we're across, we'll head to Sisophon to discover this bustling riverside community with a lively market, temples and French colonial buildings. We'll stay in Battambang tonight.
  • DAY 5 Siem Reap
  • Our next base is Siem Reap, where three nights gives us plenty of time to explore. We'll arrive in time for lunch, then we're off for a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, south-east Asia's largest freshwater lake. Your cruise takes you on a fascinating journey, where you'll view daily life in its floating villages and, if you're lucky, wildlife including turtles and otters.​
  • DAY 6 Siem Reap
  •  Today is the day that you'll visit the famous Angkor Wat – the best preserved of all the Angkor temples. All sorts of exciting experiences follow as we journey to the village of Chansar, which is supported by our Travelsphere Cares project. First, you'll visit a senior high school and then ride on an ox cart to the home of a Khmer family who specialise in making brooms. We'll enjoy a Khmer lunch and a walking tour of the village before we head to a Buddhist temple to receive a blessing from the monks. Your day ends at the incredible Ta Prohm temple, which has been left to the clutches of the jungle.
  • DAY 7 Siem Reap
  • Our discoveries continue as we head to the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Here our explorations uncover the Bayon, a temple with 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces. You'll also see the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper Kings, and we'll visit Banteay Srey, to see fine examples of Khmer art. Tonight's dinner is accompanied by a display of Khmer classical dance.​
  • DAY 8 Phnom Penh
  • We're on the road today, heading to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital. On the journey, look out for local farmers selling fried spiders as a snack.​
  • DAY 9 Phnom Penh
  • You'll discover Phnom Penh today, where one dazzling highlight is the Royal Palace, with its Silver Pagoda of 5,000 silver tiles and priceless Buddhist treasures. Our tour also takes in the National Museum, the waterfront, the Central Market and the Wat Phnom.​
  • DAY 10 Can Tho
  • Hold on to your hats as we travel by fast boat on one of the world's greatest rivers today, the River Mekong. After stops at the Cambodian and Vietnamese border stations, we'll continue to Chau Doc in Vietnam. Our journey then takes us overland deep into the Mekong Delta through traditional villages and farmland. Our overnight hotel is set on the banks of the Mekong.​
  • DAY 11 Ho Chi Minh City
  • Your day begins with a boat trip to Cai Rang's floating market. We'll then travel by ferry and small boat along narrow inlets and canals to a restaurant for lunch, visiting local workshops along the way. Finally, we re-cross the Mekong and head back to Ho Chi Minh City for a two-night stay.​
  • DAY 12 Ho Chi Minh City
  • We'll make a morning visit to the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels, a series of underground passages used by Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War. Your afternoon is spent discovering the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City which include Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace and the War Museum.​
  • DAY 13 Ho Chi Minh City/UK
  • We'll transfer you to the airport today for your flight to the UK, via Abu Dhabi.
