On this wonderful break we’ll walk in historic footsteps across one of the wonders of the modern world – the first ever cast-iron bridge as we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, as well as visiting the Black Country Museum.

Day 1: Home to Telford
You’ll join your tour coach which features spacious legroom, with more space than many short-haul airlines, perfect for relaxing into your trip. Following arrival and check in at the hotel you will enjoy a superb three-course evening meal. (Dinner)
Days 2 to 4: Telford
We spend three days in Telford over which time we will enjoy two included excursions. We travel to Dudley to discover the history of the Black Country at the Black Country Living Museum, we will discover how and why the world’s first industrial landscape grew up in this area of the West Midlands. On our way back we will call in at the town of Kidderminster, a pretty place with a number of traditional mills and unique churches.
We also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge which is seen as one of the birthplaces of the Industrial Revolution. We visit the Blist Hill Victorian Town and the fascinating Jackfield Tile Museum where we will learn about the history of this place before crossing the historic iron bridge that gives the town its name and was the first of its kind in the world.
You will have plenty of time to explore the area around the hotel. Take a walk up the Wreckin from where you will be able to see great views of the famous Shropshire hills. Or take a walk towards Telford and visit Sunnycroft, a preserved Victorian townhouse which has remained in its original state of the time. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5: Telford to Home

Full day enjoying a Very Victorian Tour at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge. We begin at Blists Hill Victorian Town where you can travel back over 100 years experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone age.
