Llandudno is the biggest seaside resort in Wales and has been attracting tourists since the Victorian Era and you can stay with us right in the resort’s centre at the County Hotel.

The best of Llandudno’s attractions including the Victorian Pier, the Alice in Wonderland trail and the Oriel Mostyn Gallery are all within a short walk of the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park.

Heading inland you can get an even closer look at the Snowdonia National Park with a scenic drive through it. Highlights in the park include Snowdon itself, the top of which can be accessed by Snowdon Mountain Railway from Llanberis. The towns of Blaenau Ffestiniog and Portmadog are outside of the park but still make for elegant destinations to visit and will mean a ride through stunning scenery on the way.

The hotel sits right on the seafront with a number of fantastic shops and restaurants in close proximity. Inside we have a ballroom with bar and dance floor and you will be able to enjoy tasty breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant while enjoying great views over the seafront.

Self-guided walking pack and two packed lunches - Included

Included walking pack with three self-guided walks in the local area plus packed lunches on two days.

Snowdon from Llanberis - Optional

You'll tackle Wales' highest peak, the tallest mountain in the British Isles, outside of Scotland. Taking the Miners' Track is one of the gentlest ways to reach the summit, with a short, hard section in the middle. You'll pass Llyn Teyrn and the causeway across Llyn Llydaw. This was built to assist in the transportation of copper from the mountain, on the more tough parts of the walk, consider the people and horse who once carried tons of metal along here! From the top, on a clear day you can see as far as Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Lake District!

Great Orme and Country Park - Optional

The summit of Great Orme is great for spectacular views of Liverpool Bay, Conwy Estuary, Snowdonia and the town of Llandudno. As well as the spectacular views of the stunning surrounding landscapes the visitors centre has models, interactive displays and interesting exhibits on the sea birds that roost here.

Great Orme Historical Trail - Optional

Great Orme has been a centre for activity on the North Wales coast for thousands of years. This walk takes in Bronze Age copper mines, Second World War artillery schools and much more. You'll walk along grassy paths, tracks and roads on this easy walk, it should be suitable for most abilities.
