The beautiful city of Durham, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the jewel in the crown of an extraordinary county. The city’s Castle and Cathedral are almost 1000 years old and are the perfect place to discover the long history of Durham.
We will also enjoy the museums at Shildon and Beamish with different aspects of the industrial history of the North East on show. So come away with us and discover what the magical North East corner of England has to offer.

Leaving this morning you’ll travel to Rushyford by luxury coach. All of our coaches feature onboard Wi-Fi, our Roadshow entertainment system and more spacious legroom than many short-haul airlines. After check-in and time to settle into your room, come down to the hotel’s restaurant for a delicious three-course meal. (Dinner)
Days 2 - 4:
We spend the next three days in Rushyford, with three included excursions to discover the beauty and heritage of the North East.
We visit stunning Durham, one of the countries most important and historic cities, with thousands of years worth of people and stories to discover at the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Cathedral and Castle. We will also visit Crook Hall, a 14th century Grade I listed house in the city.
We will also discover more of the industrial history of the region at the museums at Beamish and Shildon Railway Museum. (Breakfast, Dinner)
