This trip takes in the stunning coastal town of St Ives made up of quaint cottages, small alleys and lovely cafes and pubs. This trip also includes an excursion to Falmouth, which is famous for its beaches and its magnificent natural harbor as well as a trip to Penzance, calling at Paradise Park bird sanctuary.

We’ll travel via the interchange to the town of St Ives, following check-in we’ll enjoy a lovely evening meal. (Dinner)
Days Two to Four
Over the next three days we’ll take two included excursions. We’ll visit the quaint seaside town of Falmouth with a chance to take in some great views of the sea from vantage points at the top of the town. We’ll also go to Penzance which has a great array of fantastic food and drink to sample, on our way we will make a stop at Paradise Park bird sanctuary to see interesting birds from around the world. The other day is set aside for you to enjoy free time as you choose. There is plenty to keep you entertained around St Ives including many different art galleries, plenty of places to eat and drink. Alternatively just sit back and relax at the hotel, where you can enjoy live entertainment and views over Porthminster Beach. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Following breakfast at the hotel we’ll head home via the interchange. (Breakfast)

Set on a cliff above St Ives’ winding alleys, quaint cottages and boutique shops and overlooking Porthminster Beach, which has won many prestigious awards, the St Ives Bay Hotel is a great place to enjoy this wonderful North Cornwall town.
In less than 10 minutes you can stroll down to the seafront for a walk around the town’s harbour with a number of fantastic restaurants and bars surrounding the area. A little further on you can visit the Tate St Ives or pick up the South West Coast Path about 15 minutes from the hotel which will take you out of town to the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can see some stunning sunsets over the sea.
The seaside towns of Penzance, Newquay and Falmouth and historic Truro are all within an hour’s drive of St Ives and are great places to take a day trip to discover the culture of Cornwall. The town is also perfectly placed to enjoy lovely countryside and dramatic coastlines, Britain’s most southerly point, Lizard Point and Land’s End are both easily reachable by car.
The hotel is just across the road and up some steps from the train station meaning arriving by train couldn’t be easier. In the hotel there is plenty of space to sit back and enjoy a refreshing drink in our courtyard terrace after a busy day of exploring everything that Cornwall has to offer.Back to top
