Discover one of the finest historic properties in Sussex, Hever Castle. Home to one of the most powerful families in England of the 15th and 16th centuries, the Boleyn Family, there is a wealth of fascinating history to be discovered here.

Days 2 to 4:
We spend the next three days in and around Eastbourne enjoying two included excursions to discover some of southern England's greatest sights.
We travel across the High Weald to Hever Castle where we will discover the former seat of the Boleyn family and the magnificent gardens that it sits in.
Herstmonceux Castle is similarly magnificent, and we'll visit the former home of the Greenwich Royal Observatory, one of the oldest brick buildings in the UK.
The other day is free for you to spend at your leisure in and around Eastbourne and beyond. A highlight is the South Downs Way which starts to the west of the town and carries on past the impressive cliffs at Beachy Head. (Breakfast, Dinner)
We’ll travel home today, following a tasty breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant and check-out. Enjoy the last views of the countryside as we head home. (Breakfast)
