Days 2 to 3: Eastbourne
We spend two days in Eastbourne enjoying the very best the resort has to offer. One of the days here will be used for an included excursion to Brighton. The major attractions are of course the beach, pier and Royal Pavillion. The Lanes are a charming collection of backstreets, mostly composed of small shops which made up what was once the small fishing village here. North Laine is the area of the city famous for its alternative nature and is the place to find the city’s wilder side.
The other day is free for you to spend at your leisure in and around Eastbourne and beyond. A highlight is the South Downs Way which starts to the west of the town and carries on past the impressive cliffs at Beachy Head. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: Eastbourne to Home
It’s our last day! After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant we’ll travel home. Why not start planning your next Shearings break or order a brochure through the Roadshow entertainment system? (Breakfast)

The hotel is within a short walk of Eastbourne Pier, which was recently renovated after a devastating fire in 2014. The pier has been home to Victorian Tea Rooms and the Camera Obscura for more than 100 years.
Venturing further afield you can enjoy fantastic landscapes with rolling green hills and chalk cliffs in the dramatic South Downs which begin just to the west of the town. Eastbourne train station is around 15 minutes’ walk away from the hotel and from here Lewes and bohemian Brighton are just a short train ride away.
In the hotel you can enjoy fantastic breakfast and evening meals with snacks available from the bar throughout the day.
