The vibrant town of Killarney, known as the ‘Jewel of Ireland’ is renowned for the warmth of its Irish hospitality along with the dramatic landscapes, grand mountain ranges and mystical lakes. A small town but bursting with atmosphere and personality, there’s great shops, restaurants, pubs and friendly locals.
We'll stay on the outskirts of the town in Fossa at the Innisfallen Hotel. Situated on the Ring of Kerry itself and overlooking Lough Leane, this hotel is perfect for those who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the area.
Of course, no visit to Killarney would be complete without experiencing the spectacular Ring of Kerry, which can be found right on this town's doorstep. We’ll enjoy stunning scenery as we travel around the ring – make sure you have your camera ready!
We’ll also visit the Dingle Peninsula with dramatic views over the rugged coast and Atlantic ocean.
We will then travel onwards from Killarney to County Wexford for an overnight stay in Ireland’s Ancient East, before enjoying a final night in the Dublin area.

Day 1: Home to Dublin area
Today we travel by luxury coach to Holyhead and join the ferry over to Ireland, going on to our overnight hotel for dinner. (Dinner)
Day 2: Dublin area to Killarney
After our overnight in the Dublin area we continue westwards to reach Killarney, the Jewel of Ireland, where we stay for four nights at the Innisfallen Hotel on the outskirts of town. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3: The Ring of Kerry
Today we are in for a treat as we set off on a sensational 100-mile coastal drive taking in some of the most breath-taking landscapes along the Atlantic Coast. Our grand journey returns through famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: The Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head
We call in first at the picturesque fishing harbour town of Dingle, before continuing on to Slea Head from where we can see the ‘next parish to America’, the name affectionately given to the outlying Blasket Islands. Then it is off to the Dingle Peninsula, famous for its rugged coastline and dramatic landscapes. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5: At leisure near Killarney
You decide what to do today with a free day to explore. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 6: Killarney to County Wexford
We say goodbye to Killarney and make our way to picturesque County Wexford for an overnight stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7: County Wexford to Dublin area
We continue this morning to the Dublin area for our final night in Ireland. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8: Dublin area to Home

Full Day: Dingle Peninsula And Slea Head - Included
Known for its rugged beauty and fantastic cultural heritage, the Dingle peninsula has been recommended as a must-visit spot for nature lovers by some of the top travel guides the world over. The peninsula features green landscapes, rocky hills, sandy beaches and dramatic cliff faces. The town of Dingle itself is a hub for Irish culture and has a large Irish speaking population. We'll move onto Slea Head, which gives a dramatic view from the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the beach here is known as one of the best in Ireland. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views across to the outlying Blasket Islands, known as ‘the next parish to America’.
