Bournemouth to Sandbanks - Optional

A delightful walk along the front with sea views all the way to reach Sandbanks - home to what some would call the best beach on the south coast! From here you could even take the ferry across to Brownsea Island, a haven for wildlife and where Lieutenant-General Baden-Powell tested his ideas for the book Scouting For Boys or take the crossing to pretty Poole!

Self-guided walking pack and three packed lunches - Optional

Included walking pack with three self-guided walks in the local area plus packed lunches on three days.

Bournemouth to Barton on sea - Optional

This walk starts from our hotel, heading straight for the seafront and heading along the coast. From there you'll make it to Hengistbury Head, a nature reserve made up of sand dunes and interesting wildlife. At the end of the headland there is a village made up entirely of beach huts which makes for a colourful and pretty sight. From here you will take a ferry across the harbour. From there you'll pass Highcliffe Castle before reaching Barton on Sea.

Bournemouth Circular Walk - Optional

This is a relatively short walk but will take some time for you to really take in the sights of the town. With 4000 years of history to discover there's plenty to see! Sights along the way include Skerryvore, where Robert Louis Stevenson lived and wrote Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Kidnapped, the sea views over Bournemouth pier, Durley Chine, a Bronze Age barrow and the Hotel Miramar where JRR Tolkien was a regular visitor.
