Day 1: UK to France
We start our journey to Calais, then onward to for our overnight stay.
Day 2: France to Oberharmersbach
This morning we depart for our onward journey to Oberharmersbach where we will spend the next six nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3: Scenic Black Forest
We head out on our first full day included tour through the scenic Black Forest - one of the most varied, but also one of the biggest and best known regions of Germany. Enjoy this leisurely scenic tour to some of the most famous areas of natural wonder. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: Oberharmersbach
Today we give you the choice to take free time and explore the local area or join us on our optional excursion to Rottweil and Donaueschingen. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5: Freiburg & Titisee
First stop, the old town of Freiburg. The gateway to the southern Black Forest, Freiburg is home to the magnificent 'Muster', a dark red sandstone Cathedral, as well as a beautifully preserved Old Town, concentrated around the 'Musterplatz'. We then venture onto Titisee, with it's natural drinking water reservoir and nature reserve which has a picturesque waterfront promenade. Titisee is also famous for making the world renowned Hones cuckoo clocks. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 6: Lake Constance
Lake Constance was formed by the Rhine Glacier during the ice age. Known locally as 'Bodensee', the lake is a stunning freshwater lake and sits in between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We also visit the charming town of Konstanz. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7: Oberharmersbach
Enjoy your last day in the resort. With free time today, why not explore, revisit sites or take the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping? (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8: Oberharmersbach to France
Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye to Oberharmersbach as we head back to the Reims area for our overnight stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 9: France to UK
We continue our journey to Calais and make our way onward home. (Breakfast)
The traditional, family run Bären is situated in the village centre of Oberharmersbach, surrounded by picture postcard Black Forest scenery. The hotel provides a welcoming atmosphere and traditional accommodation in the typical style of the Black Forest.Back to top
Full day : Freiburg and Titisee - Included
We travel to the old town of Freiburg, known as the gateway to the southern Black Forest and home to the magnificent "Muster", a dark red sandstone Cathedral, as well as a beautifully preserved Old Town. We continue our journey as we venture onto Titisee with its natural drinking water reservoir and nature reserve with its picturesque waterfront promenade. Titisee is also famous for making the world renowned Hones cuckoo clocks.
Lake Constance - Included
Formed by the Rhine Glacier during the ice age, Lake Constance is known locally as Bodensee, a stunning freshwater lake. Lake Constance is situated between the Three Countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria and we enjoy the seasonal scenery on our excursion today.
Rottweil and Donaueschingen - Optional
Rottweil is the oldest town in south-west Germany with a colourful past and a medieval town centre. The appearance of this town has changed very little since the 16th century and on arrival it gives a feel of stepping back in time. We continue our journey to the town of Donaueschingen, set at the point where the Danube originates and in the idyllic surroundings of the Black Forest.

Over 200km long and 50km wide the Black Forest is not only one of the most varied but also one of the biggest and best known regions of Germany.
