With the Albert Dock, two cathedrals, the Tate Liverpool and World Museum, there is so much to see in the grand city of Liverpool on this full day excursion.
Half day:Chester
A half-day visit to the Roman city of Chester with its lovely half-timbered buildings and fine shops in unique two-level galleried arcades known as the Rows. Here you will find the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain.
Full day:Shrewsbury with river cruise
A full day visit to Shrewsbury, a historic market town in Shropshire, England, features medieval architecture, the River Severn, and is the birthplace of Charles Darwin. This excursion also includes a river cruise, so you can enjoy gliding through picture-postcard scenery.
