Torquay has such a Mediterranean feel, with yachts gracing the harbour, golden beaches, swaying palm trees and exotic gardens. You will have a day at leisure to enjoy its many charms so why not indulge in an al fresco cuppa at the quayside or stroll along Princess Pier promenade where Agatha Christie roller-skated in her youth? Try not to miss the Torquay Museum with its exhibition dedicated to the Queen of Crime. We also feature a full day in Sidmouth and a train ride on the South Devon Railway following the River Dart through the Devon hills and countryside. Plus, we also include a visit to the ancient fishing port of Brixham.

Dartmoor National Park, Buckfast Abbey & South Devon Railway
To the inspirational Buckfast Abbey, home to Benedictine monks, on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. We then continue to Buckfastleigh where we board our carriage on the South Devon Railway, which follows the River Dart and takes us through the beautiful Devon hills and splendid unspoilt countryside.
Floral Sidmouth
A full day in Sidmouth, a quintessential English seaside resort which exudes elegance and timeless charm, with inviting cafés and a host of individual and high street shops. With its stunning red cliffs, golden beaches, and pretty countryside, Sidmouth is the perfect destination for relaxation, adventure, and exploration.
Pretty Brixham
Morning visit to the ancient fishing port of Brixham, a busy little town which now houses a modern marina (six-day tours only).
