Nobody ever did storming, stropping, gyrating rock goddess like Tina Turner, officially one of the best-selling female artists in history. Her rasping power vocal, tempestuous personal life and sheer survival instinct were just begging to be turned into a rock opera, and now it has been!

Join us at London's Aldwych Theatre for a spectacular show about Tina’s journey to stardom, written by Olivier award-winning playwright Katori Hall and featuring countless hits such as Proud Mary and River Deep – Mountain High. Directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!) and described by The Independent as ‘an inspirational story…a whirlwind of elation’, it’s sure to be Simply the Best!

Itinerary

Day 1: From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel. After check-in and some time to relax we continue on to London's theatre district, where there’s time to find somewhere for dinner before the evening theatre performance. After the show, the coach takes us back to our hotel for our overnight stay.

Day 2: After breakfast, we head back into London for some free time to shop or see the sights. From a trip on the London Eye, to a spot of shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park – there is plenty to do. We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.

Selected Hotel

We’ll stay at a well-appointed 3 or 4-star hotel outside London. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Or why not enjoy an optional visit to the Tower of London (£30pp), one of the city’s most iconic attractions, take in the sights from an open top bus tour (£30pp) or treat yourself to a River Thames lunch cruise (£49pp)? We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.
