Itinerary

Description

Brilliantly reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, the stage adaptation of Disney’s beloved film, The Lion King, promises an unforgettable theatrical experience. The musical has been a sell-out success ever since it opened on Broadway in 1997 and continues to enchant audiences of all ages! Featuring music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, the smash-hit phenomenon includes tracks such as Hakuna Matata, Circle of Life and Can You Feel the Love Tonight?

Boasting glorious colours, incredible costumes, stunning effects and impressive sets, the audience is transported to Africa’s Serengeti Plains as we follow Simba’s journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. With a plot loosely based on Hamlet, this multiple Tony and Olivier award-winning show has become the top-earning title in box office history. So Be Prepared to have a memorable time at the theatre!

Itinerary

Day 1: From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel. After check-in and some time to relax we continue on to London's theatre district, where there’s time to find somewhere for dinner before the evening theatre performance. After the show, the coach takes us back to our hotel for our overnight stay.

Day 2: After breakfast, we head back into London for some free time to shop or see the sights. From a trip on the London Eye, to a spot of shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park – there is plenty to do. We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.
