Itinerary

Description

Following its huge global success, Hamilton continues to captivate audiences at the Victoria Palace Theatre! Inspired by Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton and featuring music and lyrics by Tony award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical tells the story of American Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton. Since its London premiere, Hamilton has won a staggering seven Olivier awards, tying with Matilda for the most Olivier awards won by a musical.

Set against the backdrop of the American War of Independence, the story of Alexander Hamilton’s journey from orphan to George Washington’s right-hand man is told almost entirely through song and rap. Through its imaginative storytelling, the tale of America’s past comes alive to create ‘an achievement of historical and cultural reimagining’ (The New Yorker). With the costumes and set authentically reflecting the period, warm lighting resembling candlelight and cabinet meetings reinvented as rap battles, this revolutionary retelling of America’s history is not to be missed!

From a trip on the London Eye, to a spot of shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park – there is plenty to do. Or why not enjoy an optional visit to the Tower of London (£30pp), one of the city’s most iconic attractions, take in the sights from an open top bus tour (£30pp) or treat yourself to a River Thames lunch cruise (£49pp)? We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.

Hotel Ratings

JG3 rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

JG4 rating

Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.

Regrettably Omega Breaks cannot be held responsible for cast changes or the non-appearance of a particular actor/actress and no refunds will be given in this event.

Whilst we always try to ensure that parties are seated in the theatre together, very occasionally, due to the ticket allocations we receive, it may be necessary for parties to be split. We always ensure that couples are seated together.
