The highly-anticipated world premiere of The Drifters Girl is coming to London’s Garrick Theatre for a strictly limited run! Come and discover the incredible story of one of the most popular vocal groups in history, The Drifters, and their remarkable boss. With an ever-changing line up and over 60 members throughout the band’s history, Faye Treadwell remained at its heart for three decades.
As the first female African American music manager in show business, Faye never gave up on the group she loved and turned The Drifters into chart-topping, global stars. In this brand-new musical, the group’s highs and lows are intertwined with iconic tracks such as Under the Boardwalk, Stand By Me, Come On Over to My Place, Kissin’ in the Back Row of the Movies and more. Starring the Queen of British soul and West End leading lady Beverley Knight, The Drifters Girl promises to be a hit with any fan of R&B, doo-wop and soul!
