Rattenberg
RattenbergWith only 400 inhabitants, Rattenberg is one of Austria’s smallest towns and is famous for its historic tradition of glass blowing. Tucked between the ancient fortress on the hillside and the River Inn, this charming town has almost entirely preserved its medieval centre. Here you can find revitalised townhouses and cobbled alleyways dotted with specialist glass shops. There is plenty more to explore, including the Augustine Museum, one of the Austrian Tyrol’s leading museums with its unique collection of artefacts, and the castle ruins which offer breathtaking views of the valley below. You may also like to browse the lovely range of shops along the pedestrianised high street or relax in one of the cafés and indulge in a local treat.
Zell am See
Zell am SeeThe picture-postcard town of Zell am See is nestled by the glorious reflective waters of Lake Zell and is surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The town is popular with visitors all year round and it’s easy to see why! Admire the breathtaking views, enjoy the fresh clear air and stroll through the charming medieval centre, studded with colourful chalets and bursting with Austrian charm.
Kitzbuhel
KitzbuhelThe medieval town of Kitzbuhel is surrounded by the Kitzbuhel Alps and is a delight to explore all year round, with its quaint centre, brightly-painted houses and stunning backdrop of pasture-laden hills. Stroll along the historic alleyways and follow in the footsteps of ski legends Toni Sailer and Hansi Hinterseer, as well as the renowned painter Alfons Walde, whose paintingscaptured the development of the town into a world-famous winter sports centre.
Salzburg
SalzburgThe stunning city of Salzburg has much beauty to discover, listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, its wonderful architecture and breath-taking setting make it one of the busiest cities in Europe and a fantastic coach holiday destination, all year round.
