With a packed schedule of incredible demonstrations and magnificent flypasts, this fantastic day out is perfect for air show enthusiasts and first-time visitors alike in this lovely seaside setting.Experience the thrill of daring and breathtaking displays from jets, fighters, bombers, helicopters and military aircraft from across the world. As Southport’s beach is so deep, the displays take place over the sand, unlike other air shows where the stunts are always over the water. Some of the light aircraft land on the beach before the main displays, allowing you to admire the planes on the ground as well as in the sky. Southport Pier, the second longest pleasure pier in the UK, also forms a wonderful backdrop to the air show.
Alongside the fantastic flying programme, there’s plenty to keep you entertained on the ground. From flight simulators and static aircraft at the Air Show village to wall-climbing and assault courses at the Military Village, the exhilarating activities are fun for all the family!
