Oxford

We travel to Oxford, the city of dreaming spires has plenty to offer, with many historic university buildings to see including the famous Bodleian Libraries, and postcard-perfect scenes of students and visitors punting on the river. Oxford also has a wide variety of shops, from high street stores to quaint individual boutiques and bookshops, peppered with plenty of restaurants and olde worlde taverns. The city’s literary connections include J.R.R Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Oscar Wilde and it also provided inspiration for some of the sets in the Harry Potter films.


Henley-on-Thames
After breakfast, we make our way to Henley-on-Thames, a popular destination for shopping and culture, with plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. In the summer, Henley hosts one of the most famous international sporting events in the calendar, the Henley Royal Regatta, which attracts thousands of visitors over five days in July. Expect to see Olympians at this event, which sees over 200 races and is televised across the world.

Discover the ancient royal town of Windsor, a beautiful town with a rich history situated on the River Thames and most famous for Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of His Majesty The King and the British Royal Family.  

Windsor Castle towers over this regal town and offers various exhibitions and attractions to see, from Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Changing of the Royal Guards to the Gothic St George’s Chapel and the State Apartments.
