New Year’s Eve – Poole
Today we visit Poole to discover its lovely quayside, stunning natural harbour, fine beaches and historic Old Town, which still shows evidence of its medieval past. Lined with a range of gift shops, traditional pubs, café bars and attractions - the quayside has plenty to offer. Sit back and enjoy a hot drink while watching the fishing boats leave the harbour. Later, we enjoy our New Year celebrations at the hotel, including a Hogmanay buffet dinner.
New Year’s Day – Weymouth
We wander down the memory lane of seaside resorts with a visit to Weymouth, crowned with a bustling harbour and fine Georgian seafront. The resort boasts a long sandy beach peppered with candy-stripe kiosks, plus fantastic views across the bay taking in the World Heritage Jurassic coastline. Stroll along the award-winning beach, take in the fresh sea air and relax to the sound of lapping waves. This evening we enjoy the chef’s buffet dinner back at the hotel.
