Itinerary

Day 1

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel to the vibrant city of Liverpool, to explore its magical Christmas market. This is the perfect time to visit, as the city is filled with seasonal cheer, twinkling lights and towering Christmas trees. Find unique gifts made by local crafters, with special food produce, art, fine soaps and jewellery or enjoy a warming festive drink at one of the Bavarian-style bars. There is time to enjoy dinner before we head to the hotel in the evening for our overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we make our way to Manchester’s impressive Christmas market, with its vast array of delightful stalls surrounded by glowing lights and sparkling decorations. A foodie’s haven, with many tasty treats on offer, such as freshly made pancakes or chocolate-dipped churros as well as music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this market is the perfect way to round off our trip.

Liverpool

Liverpool

A city steeped in history, culture and attractions, Liverpool is one of the most popular city break destinations in the UK and makes a great destination for a coach break.

Liverpool's most famous sons “The Beatles” are celebrated across the city; from the exhibition in the Albert Dock to the famous Cavern Club where the lads once played, you can map out their incredible journey amongst the vibrancy and history that radiates throughout this city.

Manchester

Manchester

Fancy a trip to Manchester? You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping! The Arndale Centre has all your favourite high street brands plus a food court with plenty of choice for lunch. You’ll find designer boutiques in King Street, plus a Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in Exchange Square. Deansgate, the main street through Manchester, is packed with cafes and restaurants covering all different types of cuisine and just outside the city there’s also the Trafford Centre – a huge shopping complex of high street shops – get ready to shop ‘til you drop!

Salford Quays is also well worth a closer look. Once the site of the Manchester docks, it was upgraded as part of a massive urban regeneration project, resulting in the contemporary waterfront we see today and is home to some fabulous attractions including The Lowry theatre, the Imperial War Museum North and the northern hub for both ITV and the BBC.  The Quayside outlet mall provides more retail therapy opportunities but be sure to put your feet up in the myriad bars and restaurants – perfect for people watching along the glistening waterfront!
