From fascinating museums and tempting eateries to fantastic shopping opportunities, the choice is yours! We then rejoin the coach and continue to our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

The historic city of York awaits today. Wander through the narrow cobbled streets with their distinctive overhanging buildings or spend some time in the city’s beautiful Norman Minster, which boasts some of the finest stained-glass windows in the world. Or why not take a stroll around the city walls that have stood since Roman times and wrap around the city?

Day 3

After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to the lovely town of Harrogate. Highlights include the Royal Pump Room Museum and the attractive Montpellier Quarter with its pedestrianised streets lined with 19th-century buildings that are now home to galleries, boutiques and cafés.
