Day 2 – Southport & Illuminations Drive
Today we travel to Southport, a traditional seaside resort, boasting 22 miles of sandy beaches and the country’s oldest iron pier. Southport’s tree-lined boulevards and the stunning architecture of Lord’s Street are a real treat too. Later, we head back to Blackpool for an illuminations drive along the Golden Mile to witness the famous light show and millions of twinkling lights, floats and the occasional festively lit-up tram!
Day 3
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and enjoy some free time in Fleetwood, a lovely seaside town nestled on the tip of the Fylde Coast. Be sure to take a stroll along the stunning Victorian Promenade and have a look at the beautiful harbour. Afterwards, we re-board the coach for our journey home.
Blackpool
BlackpoolFor all year round entertainment, there’s nowhere better to visit than Blackpool, the top seaside and coach holiday destination in the North of England.
Famous for its miles of unspoilt beaches and its spectacular promenade, often known as the Golden Mile, Blackpool's array of attractions is second to none.
Home to the longest outdoor light show in the UK, the most experienced donkeys, the UK's tallest roller coaster and a world-renowned dance floor, Blackpool really does have something for everyone and still offers arguably the best entertainment, fun and variety compared to any other seaside resort in the UK.
