Day OneMake your way to Tilbury, and board Columbus. This afternoon she'll slip away from London and begin her voyage.
Day TwoOur first port of call is Amsterdam. Discover this delightful city's step-gabled buildings and pretty canals, and perhaps explore cultural highlights like the Royal Palace, the renowned Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
Day ThreeSpend your first full day at sea getting to know your fellow passengers, and enjoying Columbus' excellent on-board facilities.
Day FourToday Columbus makes her way into Hardangerfjord. Be on deck early to get your first glimpse of this stunning landscape - sheer mountainsides plunging into still waters, unspoilt forests, and pristine glaciers overlooked by soaring peaks. We'll reach Eidfjord, from where you might wish to take an excursion to the famous 145-metre Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day FiveJourney through the narrow fingers of mighty Sognefjord, the world's largest and deepest, to Flam. Here you can board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway, to gasp in amazement at a feat of engineering - and the sheer beauty - of the unforgettable six-mile journey to Myrdal.
Later this afternoon, the ship cruises on through some of fjordland's most scenic waters.
Day SixThis morning Columbus docks in Bergen, with its narrow cobbled streets, medieval houses, vibrant harbour area and open-air Fish Market. Former residence of medieval kings and queens, and seat of a university, Bergen was also the birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg.
Don't miss the chance to stroll through the ancient Bryggen area, or admire the wonderful views of the city from the summit of 'Mount' Floyen, which are brought into easy reach by the quaint Floibanen funicular railway.
Day SevenYour final full day on board is spent at sea, heading home and making the most of your last chance to enjoy Columbus' fine facilities.
Day EightColumbus arrives back in Tilbury at the end of a marvellous fjords cruise. Back to top
