Day 1Join Marco Polo before she begins her journey south from Rosyth this afternoon. As you skirt the coast, you'll have time to meet fellow passengers, and to enjoy the ship's facilities and excellent five-course dining.
Day 2Newcastle was once among the most vibrant centres of the British Industrial Revolution, and has now evolved into one of England's most energetic and exciting cities. Some of your newfound friends will disembark and finish their journey here, and you'll have some time to explore before beginning the final leg of your cruise.
Day 3Arriving in Tilbury this morning, you'll enjoy breakfast on board before you disembark. Make your own way home or head into London to explore the city and see the sights. (An optional coach transfer back to Rosyth will be available to book before departure.) Back to top
In an age of vast, impersonal, floating hotels, 22,000-tonne Marco Polo, her profile marking her out as the epitome of sea-going elegance, is a beautiful ocean-liner in the classic tradition. Offering high levels of comfort, sumptuous dining and a genuinely warm welcome from the crew, Marco Polo will offer everything you'd expect of such a high-class vessel.Back to top
Passport requirementsBritish Citizens will need a full, 10-year passport to travel on this cruise. Since some countries require visitors to be valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise we recommend that all customers ensure that this is the case. Holders of non-British passports should check with the relevant embassies to see if any requirements and restrictions exist for any countries visited during the cruise.
