Spend a few relaxing days on board much-loved Magellan as she sails out of Liverpool to Normandy, calling at Ireland, the Isles of Scilly and Guernsey along the way. Call first at colourful Cobh, Irish maritime Gateway, and then continue south to the sun-kissed Scillies and beautiful Guernsey. Cross the Channel to Le Havre, then join the Seine and follow its meandering path to ‘Joan of Arc city’ Rouen, with its beautifully restored medieval centre, and before returning to Liverpool.

Day 1
Depart Liverpool, UKDepart: 1600hrs Board Magellan in Liverpool today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.
Day 2
Cobh, IrelandArrive: 1030hrs Depart: 1900hrs Magellan arrives in Cork's long, narrow harbour at Cobh, this morning. Shore excursions here offer you the chance to discover this historic capital of southwest Ireland, to head into the beautiful rolling countryside to fashionable Kinsale or to visit famous Blarney Castle, just north of the city, for a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone.
Day 3
St Mary's, Isles of ScillyArrive: 0730hrs Depart: 1900hrs This morning finds us in the Isles of Scilly. Magellan anchors here in sheltered waters, giving you plenty of opportunities to go ashore. Explore Hugh Town on St Mary's and the flower-strewn byways beyond, and perhaps visit stunning Tresco, where the famous Abbey Gardens house Britain's finest subtropical plant collection.
Day 4
St Peter Port, GuernseyArrive: 0700hrs Depart: 1800hrs Guernsey's St Peter Port welcomes us this morning. See 800-year-old Castle Cornet, which guards the entrance to the harbour, wander the cobbled central quarter and make the most of the island's tax-free shopping.

Day 6
Le Havre, FranceArrive: 0800hrs Depart: 2115hrs At around lunchtime, Magellan arrives back at the mouth of the Seine and our final port of call: Le Havre. The striking modern architecture that you'll find everywhere in this historic port is the result of the post-war reconstruction project masterminded by Belgian architect, Auguste Perret, and has led to the city's classification as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 7
Rouen, FranceArrive: 0600hrs Depart: 1900hrs After a night spent cruising up the River Seine into the heart of Normandy, Magellan will arrive in the ancient city of Rouen. You'll spend a full day here, giving you plenty of time to explore. Stroll the pretty, cobbled streets, past the site of Joan of Arc’s martyrdom in the Place du Vieux-Marche and beneath the Renaissance arch that houses the ornate Gros Horloge (one of the oldest clocks in France), to the Place de la Cathedrale.

At seaMake the most of your final day aboard Magellan as she cruises back towards Liverpool.
Day 9
Arrive Liverpool, UKArrive: 0900hrs Bid farewell to Magellan and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise. Back to top
