Spend a few relaxing days on board much-loved Marco Polo as she journeys from Bristol Avonmouth to the Isle of Wight, making a delightful circumnavigation of the island, before anchoring off the coast of mainland England for a unique view of the Bournemouth Air Festival. Continue across the Channel and cruise down the meandering Seine as far as ‘Joan of Arc city’ Rouen, with its beautifully restored medieval centre and famous cathedral, painted by Claude Monet. From Rouen, Marco Polo retraces her passage up the Seine, calling at pretty Honfleur, once the retreat of the French Impressionists, on her way back to Plymouth.

Day 1Depart Bristol, UK
Depart: 1500hrs Board Marco Polo in Bristol, today, settle in to your cabin and relax as your cruise begins.
Day 2At sea
Spend today relaxing and getting to know Marco Polo.
Day 3Bournemouth International Air Show
Relax as Marco Polo sails around the Isle of Wight to anchor off Bournemouth for an unrivalled view of the aerial displays and historic aircraft featured in the Bournemouth Air Festival.
Day 4Rouen, France
Arrive: 0800hrs (Day Four) Depart: 0130hrs (Day Five) This morning you'll awake in the heart of Normandy, as Marco Polo heads to the ancient city of Rouen. You'll spend a full day here, giving you plenty of time to explore. Stroll the pretty, cobbled streets of Rouen, today, past the site of Joan of Arc’s martyrdom in the Place du Vieux-Marché and beneath the Renaissance arch that houses the ornate Gros-Horloge (one of the oldest clocks in France) to the Place de la Cathédrale.
Day 5Cruising the River Seine
After another morning to enjoy Rouen, you'll spend the afternoon cruising gently back up to the mouth of the Seine.
Day 6Honfleur, France
Arrive: 0500hrs Depart: 1600hrs Early this morning, Marco Polo reaches Honfleur. Explore this favourite retreat of the French Impressionists, with its Vieux Bassin harbour surrounded by gabled houses, or perhaps join a shore excursion to Deauville or Monet's Gardens at Giverny.
Day 7Arrive Plymouth, UK
Arrive: 0800hrs Say goodbye to Marco Polo, her crew and your fellow passengers as she arrives in Plymouth, today, and you disembark at the end of a wonderful cruise. An optional coach transfer back to Bristol Avonmouth will be available to book in advance. Back to top
