Day OneMake your way to Tilbury for embarkation and this afternoon's sailing.
Day TwoThe delightful Dutch capital welcomes Columbus today. Step ashore to explore Amsterdam's colourful streets, picturesque canals and renowned museums. Perhaps take to the water on a canal cruise to see the city from a different angle and hear stories from its past before you rejoin Columbus in the late afternoon.
Day ThreeSpend today at sea, getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow voyagers.
Day FourThe tiny village of Flam, at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, welcomes Columbus today. Here you'll have the chance to board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon, the ship navigates her way into stunning Naeroyfjord where some of fjordland's prettiest scenery awaits.
Day FiveToday's call is at Olden. This is the stopping-off point for a trip through the beautiful surrounding countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier, part of the vast Jostedalsbreen ice-pack, which broods over the eastern reaches of the fjord.
Day SixThis morning Columbus cruises into beautiful Romsdalfjord, making her way to the port-town of Andalsnes. Take an optional excursion over the vertiginous Trollstigen (Troll's Ladder), a breathtaking road into the Valldal valley, or perhaps visit the famous wooden Rodven stave church in its dreamy setting beside the fjord.
Day SevenCompact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day EightA final day at sea, reliving the memories of your cruise holiday.
Day NineColumbus arrives back in Tilbury at the end of a wonderful fjords cruise. Back to top
