Day TwoThe first full day of your cruise is spent at sea. Relax into the pace of life on board as Columbus cruises north to Norway.
Day ThreeColumbus makes her way into Hardangerfjord, heading for Eidfjord. From here you can go ashore to take an optional shore excursion to the famous Voringfossen waterfalls, or through the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Day FourToday Columbus cruises to Skjolden. From here an optional shore excursion may take you into the stunning interior, either over the spectacular Sognefjellsweg or to the awe-inspiring Nigardsbreen glacier, part of the fabled Jostedalsbreen ice-pack.
Day FiveToday you'll call at Olden. This is the starting point for an excursion, through scenic countryside, to the famous Briksdal Glacier. This immense cliff of ice is actually just one of the 50 arms of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, which broods over the entire eastern reach of the Nordfjord.
Day SixToday Columbus docks in Bergen, an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day SevenToday is spent at sea, no doubt swapping memories of your trip with fellow passengers, as Columbus cruises home.
Day EightColumbus arrives back in Tilbury at the end of a memorable fjords cruise, and you'll bid farewell and disembark to make your way home. Back to top
