Day OneJoin Astoria in Poole, and settle in for a first evening on board as the ship sails around the coast of the Isle of Wight.
Day TwoThe sight of the soaring Spinnaker Tower marks Astoria's arrival into Portsmouth this morning, where more passengers will join the cruise. Step ashore to explore the shops and restaurants of modern Gunwharf Keys, and return to the ship during the afternoon as she begins sailing north.
Day ThreeDuring the early afternoon Astoria calls at the port of IJmuiden, where a short coach transfer will take you to the nearby city of Harleem. Stroll along its cobbled streets and past its pretty canals to discover elegant churches, museums and friendly cafes.
Day FourAstoria spends the day cruising north, giving you time to relax and to get to know your fellow passengers and the friendly crew.
Day FiveEnjoy spectacular scenery as Astoria cruises through the 100km-long Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Here you can go ashore to enjoy an optional excursion through the beautiful surrounding countryside, perhaps taking in the famous Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day SixThe ship continues on her journey and navigates through the narrow fingers of mighty Sognefjord. She'll call at the village of Flam, which has a stunning setting in one of the fjord's remotest corners. Here you might board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway, for the unforgettable journey to Myrdal.
Day SevenGeirangerfjord's twists and turns are marked by several crashing waterfalls. Step ashore at the ancient and beguiling village of Geiranger this afternoon. Perhaps visit the fascinating Norsk Fjordsenter, which chronicles life in this beautiful place, or take an optional excursion through the scenery of this glorious fjord.
Day EightThis morning Astoria arrives in Bergen, one of the most beautifully located cities in the world. This ancient fishing and trading port, spectacularly set amid hills and fjords, is also one of Northern Europe's most enjoyable destinations. Step ashore to explore the harbour and fish market, discover Bryggen's historic wooden warehouses or ride the funicular to the top of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day NineEnjoy a relaxing day at sea as Astoria cruises south towards the Netherlands.
Day 10Astoria makes one final call in the Dutch maritime city of Rotterdam, home to world-class museums, the stunning architecture of the Erasmus Bridge and the remarkable Markthal food market. Explore the lovingly preserved Old Harbour and stroll past nearby Delfshavn's step-gabled houses and ancient wharves, before returning to the ship during the afternoon for a leisurely cruise along the River Nieuwe Maas.
Day 11Astoria arrives in Portsmouth this morning, where you'll disembark and make your way home. A coach transfer back to Poole is available. Back to top
