Day TwoSpend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Day ThreeA first call in Belfast brings chances to explore both this unique city - where the gleaming Titanic Quarter is a must-see attraction - and the scenic Antrim countryside.
Days Four and FiveRelax on board as Astoria spends two more days at sea.
Days Six and SevenToday weâll arrive in Reykjavik, where the brightly painted wooden buildings contrast sharply with the stunning beauty of the city's setting beneath Mount Ejsa. Step ashore to explore; take the lift to the top of the Hallgrimskirkja Church for a panoramic view, or visit the fascinating Arbaer Folk Museum and the Saga Museum. During the evening, perhaps head out on a Northern Lights tour in the hope of catching sight of this ethereal phenomenon.
Day EightSpend another day at sea as Astoria turns south towards the Faroe Islands.
Day NineTiny, Toytown-like Torshavn is the capital of the Faroe Islands. Explore its confusion of lanes, narrow passages and black-tarred houses with green turf on the roofs, or join an excursion, perhaps to cross the famous Bridge across the Atlantic connecting the main island of Streymoy with the spectacular scenery and ancient wooden churches of smaller Eysturoy.
Day 10Our next port is the Shetland capital, Lerwick. Spend time exploring this rugged but enchanting town, or join an excursion to the 3000 year-old archaeological site at Jarlshof, with its Bronze and Iron Age remains.
Day 11Today Astoria arrives in Kirkwall, Orkneyâs historic capital. Wander the streets and marvel at magnificent St Magnus Cathedral, or join an excursion to fabled Scapa Flow, Churchillâs famous Barriers or the Italian Chapel.
Day 12Enjoy a last full day at sea.
Day 13Our final day is spent at the French port of Dunkirk, scene of the great rescue of World War Two. Spend your time here exploring the evacuation beaches, the Operation Dynamo Museum or the Dunkirk Memorial.
Day 14Astoria arrives back in Poole this morning, concluding this wonderful cruise to Iceland. Back to top
