Atlantic autumn sun
Sail away from November's grey and gloom as Magellan cruises from Bristol to the warmer waters off Portugal and Spain, and out to the sun-kissed mid-Atlantic islands of Madeira, Cape Verde and the Canaries. Explore Madeira's capital, Funchal, or perhaps experience the exhilarating descent from Monte to Livramento aboard a wickerwork 'toboggan'. Spend three days discovering Fuertaventura, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, and two on Santiago and São Vicente, surrounded by Cape Verde's fascinating mix of East African traditions and colonial culture. You'll also have several lazy days at sea to make the most of Magellan's excellent facilities. See the space-age curves of Santa Cruz de Tenerife's seafront Auditorio, the mesmerising Moroccan ports of Agadir and Casablanca, oh-so-British Gibraltar, Moorish Cadiz and the historic Spanish fishing port of Vigo on this wonderful Atlantic cruise.
