Day OneJoin Astoria before she begins her journey east from Portsmouth this afternoon. As you skirt the coast, you'll have time to settle in to your cabin, and to enjoy the ship's facilities and excellent five-course dining.
Day TwoSpend today relaxing as Astoria cruises north. Get to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Day ThreeAs Astoria arrives in Hull this morning, you'll say goodbye to some of your fellow voyagers and welcome new friends aboard before continuing your cruise.
Day FourSpend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Day FiveEnjoy spectacular scenery as Astoria cruises through the 100km-long Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Here you can go ashore to enjoy an optional excursion through the beautiful surrounding countryside, perhaps taking in the famous Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day SixThe tiny village of Flam, at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, welcomes Astoria today. Here you'll have the chance to board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon, the ship navigates her way into stunning Naeroyfjord where some of fjordland's prettiest scenery awaits.
Day SevenToday you’ll call at Olden. This tiny village of clapbpoard houses and rolling green pastures is the starting point for an excursion, through scenic countryside, to the famous Briksdal Glacier. This immense frozen cliff is actually just one of the 50 arms of the Jostedal Glacier, which covers almost 200 square miles of the surrounding landscape in an vast, slowly shifting blanket of ice.
Day EightExquisite Geirangerfjord is one of the smaller fjords, but is undeniably among the most beautiful. Today Astoria cruises its twists and turns through a landscape marked by crashing waterfalls and ancient villages like Hellesylt and Geiranger. Disembark in Geiranger to take in the beauty of it all, or to enjoy an optional excursion.
Day NineCompact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day 10A final day at sea, reliving the memories of your Norwegian cruise.
Day 11Bid farewell to Astoria and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise. Back to top
