Day 1Depart Bristol Avonmouth
Depart: 1600hrs Board Marco Polo in Bristol today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.
Day 4Christmas Day
Spend Christmas Day at sea. Relax and enjoy the care and attention of the Captain, Officers, crew and entertainment team as they do everything they can to ensure that you and your fellow passengers have a Christmas celebration unlike any other.
Day 5Gibraltar, British Overseas Territory
Arrive: 0700hrs Depart: 1400hrs Marco Polo arrives in Gibraltar to spend Boxing Day in the Mediterranean's most British location. Explore the pretty town, or ride the cable car to the summit of the Rock to meet the ever-mischievous resident apes and take in the spectacular views.
Day 7Lanzarote, Spain
Arrive: 0800hrs Depart: 2000hrs Today Marco Polo arrives in Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. Don't miss the chance to ride a camel to the edge of a volcano in Timanfaya National Park, take a dip in the warm waters or relax on the island's sandy beaches.
Day 8Tenerife, Spain
Arrive: 0800hrs Depart: 2300hrs From Mount Teide's snow-capped peak to the warm seas of Playa Del Duque, Tenerife boasts a breadth of climates and ecosystems that few places its size can match. Spend your day here exploring the principal port, Santa Cruz, or discovering some of the island's natural wonders on a shore excursion.
Day 9Gran Canaria, Spain
Arrive: 0700hrs Depart: 1300hrs Our final Atlantic island call is Las Palmas, Gran Canaria's principal port. Immerse yourself in the bustle of modern Puerto de la Luz. wander the cobbled streets and palm-fringed squares of the port's old town, Vegueta, or take an excursion to see Maspalomas's vast sand dunes or explore the rugged landscape of Pico de las Nieves.
Day 10Madeira, Portugal
Arrive: 0900hrs Depart: 0100hrs (Day 11) Spend the final day of 2019 surrounded by the natural beauty of Madeira. This sub-tropical paradise is home to some of the most vibrant and varied plant life on Earth. Relax in the island capital, Funchal, visit the wonderful Botanical Gardens, and perhaps race downhill from Monte to Livramento in a wickerwork 'toboggan' before returning to Marco Polo to begin an evening of New Year's Eve celebrations capped by a fantastic fireworks display.
Day 12Lisbon, Portugal
Arrive: 1300hrs Depart: 1900hrs The Portuguese capital, Lisbon, is Marco Polo's last Latin port of call. Wander up through the cobbled streets of the Alfama towards Sao Jorge Castle, relax by the fountain in Rossi Square or follow the shoreline along to where the ornate battlements of the Belem Tower guard the mouth of the River Tagus.
Day 15Cobh, Ireland
Arrive: 0600hrs Depart: 1115hrs Early this morning, Marco Polo arrives in Cork’s long, narrow harbour of Cobh. Shore excursions here offer you the chance to discover this historic capital of southwest Ireland, to head into the beautiful rolling countryside to fashionable Kinsale or to visit famous Blarney Castle, just north of the city, for a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone.
Day 16Arrive Bristol Avonmouth
