With its decorated trees and festive lights, Paphos looks a picture throughout the Christmas season.

Divided in 1974 by the 'green line' separating Greek and Turkish Cypriot territories, the city is a both modern, bustling metropolis, with tree-lined boulevards and a sophisticated cafe culture, and a fascinating gateway to the island's turbulent past.
Days Eight-TenEnjoy three days' relaxation and the chance to unwind and prepare for a memorable New Year's Eve, as you join fellow guests for a Gala Dinner at the hotel, and at midnight, head outside to see in 2019 and watch fireworks in the night sky.
Day 11Another day of relaxation, and perhaps recuperation, after the celebrations.
Day 12A last optional excursion offers the opportunity to discover a taste of authentic Cyprus. The day includes visits to an ancient village where the fruit of the carob tree is fashioned into sweetmeats, a family owned halloumi cheese factory and a fragrant herb farm in the foothills of the mountains, before lunch in a traditional tavern. This gastronomic journey ends with an afternoon visit to another village producing Cypriot delicacies.
