Plan My Trip

Day One

Fly to Cyprus, meet your tour manager and transfer to your festive home-from-home. Settle into your surroundings and enjoy a first dinner this evening.

Day Two

Rest and relax at the hotel or take the opportunity to do a little last-minute Christmas shopping.

Day Three - Christmas Eve

An included guided tour will bring to life delightful Paphos, including the UNESCO listed Tombs of the Kings, Roman villas with their famous mosaics, and the Byzantine church. With its decorated trees and festive lights, Paphos looks a picture throughout the Christmas season.

Return to the hotel to begin your Christmas celebrations with tonight's gala dinner. Cypriot traditions include children singing kalanda - carols - and the preparation of a pie containing a 'lucky' coin. A piece is always saved for Ayios Vasilis, the Cypriot 'Santa Claus'.

Day Four - Christmas Day

Enjoy a Christmas Day to remember, perhaps taking a stroll through town or along the seashore, and this evening enjoy a special festive dinner with music and entertainment.

Day Five

Rest and relax after the past days' festivities, enjoying the hotel and its surroundings.

Day Six

Today's included excursion heads into the spectacular Troodos Mountains, which rise above the plains and the coast. Platres is a popular winter ski station, offering the chance of refreshment, stunning views - and snow!

Day Seven

Join today's optional excursion and journey to historic Nicosia, island capital for more than 12 centuries. Divided in 1974 by the 'green line' separating Greek and Turkish Cypriot territories, the city is a both modern, bustling metropolis, with tree-lined boulevards and a sophisticated cafe culture, and a fascinating gateway to the island's turbulent past.

Days Eight-Ten

Enjoy three days' relaxation and the chance to unwind and prepare for a memorable New Year's Eve, as you join fellow guests for a Gala Dinner at the hotel, and at midnight, head outside to see in 2019 and watch fireworks in the night sky.

Day 11

Another day of relaxation, and perhaps recuperation, after the celebrations.

Day 12

A last optional excursion offers the opportunity to discover a taste of authentic Cyprus. The day includes visits to an ancient village where the fruit of the carob tree is fashioned into sweetmeats, a family owned halloumi cheese factory and a fragrant herb farm in the foothills of the mountains, before lunch in a traditional tavern. This gastronomic journey ends with an afternoon visit to another village producing Cypriot delicacies.

Day 13

Bid farewell to your hosts, and transfer back to the airport for your return flight. Back to top
