Day 2After our included tour introduces wonderful Barcelona, you're free to explore for the rest of the day. Discover Gaudi's Modernista architecture, explore the medieval Barri Gotic quarter and stroll down the famous avenue, La Rambla. After a day crammed full of highlights, you'll return to the hotel in time for dinner this evening.
Day 3Today's included tour is a leisurely escorted drive through the rolling foothills - and some higher passes - of the Catalan Pyrenees. We will pass through the Cadi Tunnel, then cross the border into France and visit famously sunny Fort-Romeu-Odeillo-Via, the walled town of Villefranche-de-Conflent and Perpignan.
Day 4Enjoy the hotel's amenities and surroundings, or join today's optional excursion to the historic walled city of Girona. A guided walking tour introduces this typically Catalan city, before some free time to explore. Don't miss the cathedral's cool cloisters, the wonderfully restored Arab baths or Europe's best-preserved Jewish quarter.
Day 5The last included excursion visits the stunning monastery of Montserrat, the spiritual centre of Catalonia. Accessible only by winding road, rack railway or cable car, this centuries-old place of pilgrimage offers outstanding views.
Day 6After a wonderful stay in Spain, transfer back to the airport for your flight home. Back to top
