PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Day 1Fly to Amsterdam, meet your Tour Manager and transfer to your chosen hotel. After arrival, you will have the evening free to relax.
Day 2After breakfast, we'll travel to central Amsterdam where you'll have the afternoon free to shop and sightsee. Visit famous sights, such as the Van Gogh Museum, the Royal Palace and the renowned Rijksmuseum, or perhaps enjoy our private afternoon cheese and wine cruise.In the late afternoon, our coach will return you to the hotel.
Day 3Enjoy some free time in the morning and a late breakfast. At about 1pm we'll depart for beautiful, historic Maastricht, where you'll have time to explore, shop and sightsee. Stroll the delightful, pedestrianised cobbled streets around Vrijthof Square, relax in a cafe or bar, enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants. Alternatively, join our optional private dinner river cruise, and enjoy a welcome drink, a two-course buffet dinner (mains and dessert), as your knowledgeable guide brings the city to life, pointing out historic sights and places of interest, including Andre Rieu's castle home on St Pieter's Hill.This evening, take your seat in Vrijthof Square to see André Rieu and The Johann Strauss Orchestra, Choir, Soloists and Special Guests live in concert. Enjoy the stunning sights and sounds as the innovative showman plays waltzes, classics and music from operas, films and musicals in this beautiful, atmospheric setting.After this not-to-be-missed experience, you’ll make your way to your coach for a late return to your hotel.
Day 4Enjoy another relaxed morning, and a late breakfast, before our afternoon trip to Antwerp, the Diamond Capital of the World. You'll have time to explore the city's great market square, pretty cobbled streets and fine Gothic churches - or perhaps the magnificent railway station and Rubenshuis museum - before our coach takes you back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 5Transfer back to the airport to board your flight home, taking with you a host of memories of a very special break to André Rieu's hometown. Back to top
Hotel transfer timesThe transfer time from Amsterdam airport to your hotel is approximately 90 minutes.
Concert informationPlease note that this is an outdoor concert with no tiered seating, which will start at approximately 9pm and finish at about 11.45pm. Afterwards our coach will return you to the hotel, arriving at around 2am. It will be necessary to walk between the coach drop-off/pick-up points and the concert venue. Your show/event ticket(s) will be given to you by your Newmarket Tour Manager on the day.
Optional cruise excursionsWe have organised two optional excursions during your holiday - a private afternoon Maastricht Summertime Dinner Cruise and a private late afternoon Amsterdam Cheese & Wine Cruise. Further details will be available during the booking process.
Flight timingsAt this time, exact outbound and inbound departure times have not been confirmed. Times shown are our best estimate based on current information. Final timings will be confirmed to you in your Final Travel Documents, approximately 10 days prior to departure, though we will make every effort to secure timings close to those indicated when you book.
Passport and ID documentationPlease note you will be asked to supply Passport / ID documentation details for each passenger at the time of booking or as soon thereafter.
Combining hotel transfersWe sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

Names - It is very important that all passenger names are exactly as per your passport although we do not require middle names. Passport - Your passport must meet two requirements to travel to an EU country and to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. It must be: Less than 10 years old on the day you return home (please check the "date of issue") and valid for at least 3 months after the day you return home (please check the "expiry date"). Visa - You do not need a visa for short trips to most EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. You’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. European Travel Information & Authorisation System (ETIAS) - Commencing in late 2023 or 2024, all citizens of the United Kingdom will require a ETIAS electronic form completed prior to their arrival into the EU and Schengen member countries.
