Itinerary

Day One

Leaving your local area in the early morning, you'll travel into central London, where there'll be the chance to soak up the summertime atmosphere of the capital for a few hours. Your friendly Tour Manager will be on hand to 'point you in the right direction' and help you to make the most of your time.

Take in some famous sights, perhaps enjoy a stroll in a Royal park, head to the shops and stores of the West End or trendy Covent Garden, or treat yourself to afternoon tea in style, before re-boarding the coach to head to the overnight hotel. Rest and relax, perhaps enjoying a bite to eat or a drink in the bar, and look forward to tomorrow's day at the races.

Day Two

After breakfast at the hotel and the chance to put finishing touches to the day's outfits, board the coach for the journey to Royal Berkshire and the racecourse at Ascot. Upon arrival, there's the chance to soak up the atmosphere of the world-famous event; admire the fashion statements, enjoy a bite to eat - with a glass of pre-race bubbly perhaps - wander the stylish 'Ascot shops', or study the afternoon's Race Card for likely winners and place a first bet. Then, take your place in the Windsor Enclosure (or Queen Anne Enclosure) to watch the procession down the course of the Royal Party, as they make their way in open-top carriages from the Golden Gate, signalling the start of the day's racing.

Enjoy the excitement and colour of some of the world's finest thoroughbreds and most famous jockeys in action throughout the six-race programme, and at day's end, re-board the coach for the return journey home, arriving back in the local area by late evening at the end of a wonderful two-day break.
