A yuletide break on the scenic lakeside

A good selection of cafes, gelaterie, bars, restaurants and shops make it one of the lake's most popular spots. If you wish to do this, please select the county 'Kent' and the pick-up point 'Stop 24 Folkestone Services Saltwood' when booking. You will be notified of the exact pick-up location in your Final Travel Details, which you will receive approximately 7-10 days prior to departure. Further information and car parking charges can be found at www.stop24.co.uk
European Christmas Closing Times
Shops in Europe will generally be closed from early afternoon on Christmas Eve until 27th December.
Coach seating arrangements
Your Tour Manager will have allocated seats for you on the main coach in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible, and will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)
Depending on your departure point, you may leave your pick-up point very early in the morning and return very late at the end of the holiday, in order to meet your scheduled Channel crossing. There will also be a stop to transfer you from a feeder coach to your main coach, on both the outward and return journeys.
Joining your holiday
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Your Channel crossings will either be by ferry or Eurotunnel and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
Italian hotel room tax
Some regions of Italy have introduced a room tax of between 1 EURO and 3 EURO per person per night, payable directly by the guest to the hotel on check-out. You will be advised by your Tour Manager in resort if a particular hotel is implementing this charge.
Since some attractions visited offer free admission to visitors at certain times of year, we do not include entrance fees. These will be payable locally where applicable. This applies to excursions that are included in the price of your holiday and to excursions booked as optional extras.
