Leaving the local area this morning we'll head to historic Chester. Arriving in the early afternoon, you'll be able to explore the famous 'Rows' - galleried tiers of shops dating back to medieval times - visit the cathedral and walk the city walls before we continue to our overnight hotel.
Today's undoubted highlight is our visit to the Tatton Park Flower Show. With its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and superb setting, this immensely popular show is full of attractions - from inspirational show gardens, cutting edge garden design and breathtaking floral marquees, to stunning bedding displays, new plant varieties and trade stands selling everything from conservatories to gardening gloves.
Take advice from celebrity experts, watch demonstrations and pick up a wealth of traditional, practical and innovative ideas from some of Britain's top garden designers before we leave Tatton Park in the afternoon and begin the journey home, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.
