Itinerary

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach at your convenient pick up point this morning, and head north to Yorkshire with comfort stops on the way to check in at your hotel on the outskirts of York. On arrival you will have time to settle in before your first included evening meal.

Day 2

After a filling breakfast, we head into York to enjoy free time to explore. Enjoy its many sights and sounds formed by its rich history and heritage from the Vikings to Romans and beyond.

An ancient and compact walled city, York can be explored easily on foot. Perhaps visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, one of York’s most popular attractions delving into the past and the sights and sounds of Viking York. Don't miss ‘The Shambles’, one of the best-preserved medieval streets in the world, whilst the magnificent Minster is well worth a visit along with the state-of-the-art Undercroft Museum, located in chambers underneath the cathedral. There’s also the National Railway Museum, showcasing over 300 years of railway history.

We return to your hotel for your evening meal and then perhaps relax in the hotel bar with a drink.

Day 3

Enjoy a final tasty breakfast this morning, we check out and return to York with further time to explore. Harry Potter fans can find many links in York including The Shop That Must Not Be Named in The Shambles, which itself is the inspiration for the magical Diagon Alley.

Early afternoon rejoin your coach with time to relax as you head home with new friends and great memories of your weekend.
