Norwich

INCLUDED Visitor Destination

Norwich is a wonderful fusion of the modern and historic, one complementing the other. Like any great city its centre is easy to walk around and has a river at its heart. As well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK, it has a flourishing arts, music and cultural scene, superb independent as well as High Street shopping, lively restaurants, bars and nightlife and a heritage that is a delight to explore. It was also England's first UNESCO City of Literature – this is a city of stories and also the only UK city set in the middle of a National Park, the Norfolk Broads. You may enjoy exploring the history of the Norman Castle and 11th Century Cathedral, but for lighter pastimes there is also a great street market that is open 6 days a week.

Cromer & Sheringham

Cromer is a popular North Norfolk seaside town, situated on a cliff-top overlooking fine sandy beaches. Cromer Pier has a Lifeboat Station and Pavilion Theatre, which still stages end of pier shows. Developed into a significant resort by the late Victorians, when healthy breezes were sought, the architecture of the time lends Cromer a feel of elegant grandeur. Cromer church dominates the town with the tallest tower in Norfolk. The streets and alleys are crammed with shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to explore - a browser's delight!

Sheringham has a rich cultural heritage, with roots tracing back to its time as a fishing village. The town is home to several local museums, including the Sheringham Museum, which offers insights into the area's maritime history and lifeboat service.
