We combine visits to the great cities of Winchester and Bath, with a guided tour and tasting at the iconic Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery to see the care, skill and artistry behind every drop of gin produced.
Our journey includes a visit to the renowned Bombay Sapphire Distillery, where you'll discover the secrets behind one of the world’s most famous gins. Discover how it is made and the processes used to make it so unique, and, of course, we had to include a tasting experience!
You can also explore the charming city of Winchester and the stunning Georgian city of Bath, each offering a wealth of history, beautiful architecture, and fantastic shopping.
We stay at the 4-star Norton Park Hotel, set across 54 acres of blissful parkland just outside historic Winchester, which offers everything you need for a great stay. It is an ideal base for exploring the nearby attractions and features a spa and a leisure club with a gym, pool and sauna.

Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and head for Hampshire for a guided tour of the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery. Uncover the secrets of Bombay Sapphire gin on the site of a former paper mill in the Hampshire countryside.Your experience begins with a trip to the Turbine Bar where you can choose from three Bombay gins to make your own complimentary gin & tonic, before heading to the Cinema Room to be immersed in all things Bombay Sapphire in preparation for your tour. Explore the Bombay Sapphire Distillery with a distillery host to guide you as you discover the ten exotic botanicals infused into every drop of Bombay Sapphire Gin in the Glasshouses, with an insight into Heatherwick Studios’ inspired design. Your host will help you navigate the Botanical Dry Room; a sensory experience to uncover your flavour preferences, and you’ll learn about the rare vapour infusion distillation process which makes Bombay Sapphire gin so exquisite.
Rejoin your coach and continue to your hotel located just outside of Winchester, set in blissful parkland. Check in and relax, and maybe enjoy a drink at the bar before dinner.
Day 2
Enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning that will set you up for the day ahead.Feel free to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities in the hotel, including the sauna and steam room, heated loungers and indoor swimming pool. Spa treatments are subject to availability and booked directly with the hotel.
Alternatively join us on our fabulous INCLUDED excursion to the nearby historic city of Winchester. Wander around this unspoilt city with its striking cathedral and plenty of history to soak up combined with quirky shops and trendy food and drink spots. Enjoy time to shop, sightsee and maybe something to eat before returning to the hotel. We will offer 2 transfer times back at around 1:30pm and 4:00pm so you can have the choice of an afternoon at the hotel or a full day in Winchester.
In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner at the hotel with your fellow travellers.
Day 3
This may be the final day of your weekend away, but the fun is far from over! After a final hearty breakfast, we say farewell to the hotel and head for the lovely city of Bath. On arrival enjoy time to explore the city at your leisure. If you are into architecture the splendid Royal Crescent is a must see. History buffs will delight in the Roman baths and get lost in Austen, and shoppers are spoilt for choice. For the ultimate relaxation take the waters and afternoon tea in the sumptuous Pump Room, or bring your swimming costume and sample the unique natural hot springs at the modern Thermae Bath Spa and swim in the luxurious hot waters of the amazing roof top pool, with views over the city at any time of year!
Later, reboard the coach for a final relaxing journey home.
