The Turkey & Tinsel programme adds plenty of festive cheer, featuring bingo and live entertainment every evening, giving you the chance to join in as much as you wish. One evening, you’ll be treated to a classic Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, followed by mince pies and coffee for a cosy, traditional finish. A visit from Santa brings an extra smile, while the festivities build towards a lively New Year’s Eve party, complete with music, entertainment and a great atmosphere to welcome the year ahead.

Itinerary

Day 1

Join your coach this morning, and head for Weymouth, with comfort stops en route.. On arrival at the lovely Russell Hotel in Weymouth there is time to settle in, perhaps take a stroll along the prom and enjoy our first delicious dinner and then brilliant entertainment including bingo.

Days 2 - 4

Day 2 - 'Christmas Day'
Enjoy a hearty breakfast this morning and then spend the day relaxing. You're on holiday! Choose to spend the day enjoying Weymouth and your hotel. In the evening, join us for a traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by mince pies and coffees and a visit from a very special person. Then it is eyes down for some festive bingo followed by more live entertainment.

Day 3 - 'Boxing Day'
After a good night's sleep and another tasty breakfast, choose to enjoy another day in Weymouth or join us on our INCLUDED excursion. The evening is yours to enjoy with a delicious evening meal followed by more bingo and live entertainment.

Day 4 - 'New Year's Eve'
Make sure you are well rested today, as you'll be up late welcoming in the New Year! Enjoy another hearty breakfast and then you once again have the choice of staying in Weymouth or joining us on our second INCLUDED excursion. Then, in the evening it is party time! After another lovely dinner look forward to fabulous entertainment to help you see in the 'New Year'.

After breakfast, it is time to say farewell to the lovely Weymouth. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, relax as you continue homewards full of festive cheer.

Dorchester

You will find a town with one foot in the past and another firmly in the future, with some of this country's best preserved Roman ruins moments away from a thriving high street. Dorchester is very fortunate in having no less than 8 museums, leafy riverside walks near the centre, dialect trails through the town's shops and cafes and the largest Iron Age hillfort in Europe. The Dorset Museum will give you an insight into the county's Jurassic past through to the life and work of Dorset's famous novelist and poet Thomas Hardy. For more specialist interests you could visit the many themed museums from Teddies to Terracotta Warriors and Tutankhamun, all in this bustling town where there are plenty of individual shops and cafes to browse and watch the world go by for a more sedate visit.
