Westonbirt National Arboretum Day Trip

Enjoy time exploring fabulous Westonburt, The National Arboretum. It is a remarkable place with a beautiful and inspiring landscape where people can visit to enjoy and learn about trees. Created almost 200 years ago, you can discover how one man's passion created one of the world's most beautiful collections. Home to 2,500 different species from the far corners of the globe and 5 national tree collections, Westonbirt is the perfect place for you to escape, relax or have an adventure! Take a journey up into the canopy on the fully accessible STIHL Tree Top Walkway, stop by the café for a tasty treat or see if you can spot a Gruffalo or two hidden away in the deep dark wood! The Welcome Building will set you on your perfect path, whether it's the natural play trail, perfect for kids of all ages, a gentle stroll or some Japanese 'forest bathing' which will put you at one with your beautiful surroundings.
