Day 1

After joining the coach at one of our convenient local pick up points, we head towards Weston stopping off in historic Bath to explore this incredible city and its Roman past. After time for some shopping and a bite to eat, rejoin the coach and head on towards Weston. We expect to arrive at our seafront hotel late afternoon and in good time for dinner and maybe some evening entertainment?

Day 2

Enjoy a traditional English breakfast along with free time in Weston plus our INCLUDED excursion to the weekly market in Wells and Glastonbury. Return late afternoon before enjoying another tasty dinner and more great entertainment and drinks from the cosy bar that will help you share your memories from the day.

Day 3

After breakfast enjoy some free time but leave space for your afternoon tea before we leave! Depart Weston after mid-afternoon and head back home to South Wales

Bath (on outbound journey)

Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, and enjoy year-round festivals, theatre, music and sport whilst Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel.

Wells & Glastonbury

Wells is the smallest city in England nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills and famed for its medieval architecture. As well as its spectacular Gothic cathedral Wells boasts the Bishop's Palace and Vicars' Close, said to be the oldest residential street in Europe. Wells has a wealth of fine eateries and fashionable shops. There is always lots going on in the city and we will take you there on one of it's bustling market days!

We then move on for a brief visit to Glastonbury, made famous by both its annual music festival and its mystic abbey which is connected with legend to a degree that is unparalleled by any other abbey in England. Since Medieval times, the abbey has held legendary status as the earliest Christian foundation in Britain linked to Joseph of Arimathea and the burial place of King Arthur. Today it is a tranquil setting where you can discover the stories and explore the accredited museum (entrance not included).
