West Midlands Safari Park Lantern Festival Day Trip

Are you ready to go on Safari and come face to face with some of the fastest, tallest and cutest animals around? Then join our day out to West Midland Safari Park, home to some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered exotic species. There is a Safari Drive, theme park (additonal costs apply for rides, payable at the Park) and for your own little explorers, a dedicated Tiny Tots area with 7 rides and attractions designed for the smaller guest! After a day filled with family run we rejoin the coach at 16:30 to start our homeward journey back to South Wales.

See nature in a new light at West Midlands Safari Park's Lantern Festival. Discover the epic Christmas light trail, where you can enjoy mesmerising lighting displays, marvel at a ‘wild’ range of breath-taking lanterns and explore the walk–through areas of the Park like never before.

With over forty light groupings all with a flora and fauna theme, over 1,000 individual lanterns will light up the Park making a fantastic family evening out.

Walk-through animal exhibits such as Twilight Cave, Reptile House, Creepy Crawlies and Aquarium will remain open for guests to enjoy, as well as the Land of the Living Dinosaurs and Ice Age exhibits.

The Safari Drive-through and Theme Park rides will be closed during the evening event. Warning: There are some flashing lights on the trail route. Some sections of the lantern route may not be suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
